Abdel Fattah El-Sisi
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is the current President of Egypt, having taken office in June 2014. He previously served as the Minister of Defense and played a key role in the military's removal of former President Mohamed Morsi in 2013. El-Sisi was elected after a period of political unrest in the country.
Under El-Sisi's leadership, Egypt has focused on economic reforms and infrastructure development. His government has faced criticism for human rights issues and restrictions on freedom of expression. Despite this, he remains a significant figure in Egyptian politics and has sought to strengthen the country's regional influence.
