Abaza language
The Abaza language is a Northwest Caucasian language spoken primarily by the Abaza people in the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. It belongs to the Abkhaz-Adyghe language family and has two main dialects: Abaza and Bzhedug. The language is known for its complex consonant system and rich morphology.
Abaza is primarily an oral language, though there are some written materials available. It is closely related to the Abkhaz language, which is spoken by the Abkhaz people. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the use of Abaza, especially among younger generations.
