A-T Children’s Project
The A-T Children’s Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research for Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T), a rare genetic disorder that affects children. A-T is characterized by progressive loss of motor skills, immune system deficiencies, and an increased risk of cancer. The organization aims to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for this condition.
Founded in 1993, the A-T Children’s Project supports scientific research and raises awareness about A-T. It collaborates with researchers and institutions to accelerate the development of therapies. The organization also provides resources and support for families affected by A-T, fostering a community of hope and resilience.
