61 Cygni
61 Cygni is a binary star system located about 11.4 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. It consists of two stars, 61 Cygni A and 61 Cygni B, which are both K-type main-sequence stars. These stars are known for their relatively low brightness and are among the closest stars to Earth.
The system is notable for its proper motion, as it has one of the highest apparent motions in the night sky. 61 Cygni was the first star system to have its parallax measured, which helped astronomers determine distances to stars beyond our solar system.
