61 Cygni B
61 Cygni B is a red dwarf star located about 11.4 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Cygnus. It is part of a binary star system, along with its companion star, 61 Cygni A. This star is much cooler and dimmer than our Sun, with a surface temperature of around 3,500 degrees Celsius.
The star is notable for its proximity to Earth and its proper motion, which is one of the highest among stars. 61 Cygni B has a mass about 0.6 times that of the Sun and is classified as a spectral type M1. Its faintness makes it difficult to observe without a telescope.
