Cygnus
Cygnus is a prominent constellation in the northern sky, named after the Latin word for "swan." It is easily recognizable due to its distinctive cross shape, often referred to as the Northern Cross. The constellation contains several notable stars, including Deneb, which is one of the brightest stars in the night sky and part of the Summer Triangle.
In addition to its bright stars, Cygnus is home to various deep-sky objects, such as the Cygnus X-1 black hole and the Veil Nebula. This constellation is best viewed during the summer months in the northern hemisphere, making it a favorite among stargazers.
