후고구려
후고구려, also known as Later Goguryeo, was a state that emerged in the 5th century after the fall of the ancient kingdom of Goguryeo. It was founded by Dae Joyeong, a military leader who sought to restore the glory of Goguryeo. The kingdom was located in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula and parts of Manchuria.
The state lasted until the late 7th century, when it was eventually conquered by the Tang Dynasty of China and the Silla kingdom. Despite its relatively short existence, 후고구려 played a significant role in the history of Korea and contributed to the cultural and political landscape of the region.
