한국 호랑이
The 한국 호랑이, or Korean tiger, is a subspecies of tiger that once roamed the Korean Peninsula. Known scientifically as Panthera tigris corbetti, it is characterized by its distinctive orange coat with black stripes. This majestic animal is an important symbol in Korean culture and folklore.
Unfortunately, the 한국 호랑이 is now considered extinct in the wild, primarily due to habitat loss and hunting. Conservation efforts have been made to protect its remaining habitats and raise awareness about the importance of wildlife preservation. The last confirmed sighting in the wild was in the early 20th century.
