하야부사 2
하야부사 2 is a Japanese spacecraft launched by JAXA in December 2014. Its primary mission was to explore the near-Earth asteroid Ryugu and collect samples to bring back to Earth. The spacecraft successfully arrived at Ryugu in June 2018 and conducted detailed observations of the asteroid's surface and composition.
In February 2019, 하야부사 2 deployed a small lander and a roving robot to gather data from Ryugu. After collecting samples, the spacecraft began its journey back to Earth in November 2019. It successfully returned on December 6, 2020, delivering valuable insights into the origins of the solar system.
