쿠트브 미나르
쿠트브 미나르 is a towering minaret located in 델리, 인도. Standing at 73 meters tall, it is the tallest brick minaret in the world and was constructed in the 12th century. The minaret is part of the 쿠트브 복합단지, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and showcases intricate carvings and inscriptions in Arabic.
The construction of 쿠트브 미나르 was initiated by 쿨리 부크타르 after the defeat of the last Hindu ruler in 델리. It served as a symbol of the beginning of Muslim rule in northern 인도. The minaret is made of red sandstone and features five distinct stories, each marked by a balcony.
