춘절
춘절, or Spring Festival, is the most important traditional holiday in China. It marks the beginning of the lunar new year and usually falls between late January and mid-February. Families gather to celebrate with special meals, fireworks, and various cultural activities.
During 춘절, people often clean their homes to sweep away bad luck and decorate with red items, symbolizing good fortune. The holiday lasts for about 15 days, culminating in the Lantern Festival, where colorful lanterns are displayed, and people enjoy traditional foods like rice dumplings.
