알보르즈 산맥
The 알보르즈 산맥 (Alborz Mountains) is a major mountain range in northern 이란 (Iran). It stretches approximately 1,500 kilometers from the 카스피해 (Caspian Sea) in the west to the 자그로스 산맥 (Zagros Mountains) in the south. The range is known for its stunning landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and significant peaks, including 다마반드 (Damavand), which is the highest mountain in Iran.
The Alborz Mountains play a crucial role in the region's climate, influencing rainfall patterns and creating a barrier that separates the coastal areas from the arid interior. The range is also home to various wildlife species and offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and mountaineering.
