새누리당
새누리당, or the Saenuri Party, was a major political party in South Korea that existed from 2012 to 2016. It was formed as a successor to the Grand National Party and aimed to represent conservative values. The party focused on economic growth, national security, and traditional family values.
In 2016, the Saenuri Party faced significant challenges, including internal divisions and public discontent. Following a corruption scandal involving then-President Park Geun-hye, the party lost its majority in the National Assembly. Eventually, it was rebranded as the Liberty Korea Party in 2017, marking a new chapter in its political journey.
