Park Geun-hye
Park Geun-hye is a South Korean politician who served as the 11th President of South Korea from 2013 until her impeachment in 2017. She was the first woman to hold the office and is the daughter of former President Park Chung-hee, who ruled South Korea from 1961 to 1979.
Her presidency was marked by significant economic challenges and a controversial scandal involving her close confidante, which led to widespread protests. In March 2017, the Constitutional Court upheld her impeachment, resulting in her removal from office. She was later convicted of corruption and abuse of power.
