법가
법가, or "Legalism," is a philosophical and political ideology that emerged in ancient China. It emphasizes strict adherence to laws and regulations as the foundation for social order and governance. Legalists believe that human nature is inherently selfish, and thus, a strong, centralized authority is necessary to maintain control and ensure compliance.
The most notable proponent of 법가 was Han Feizi, a philosopher during the Warring States period. His ideas influenced the formation of the Qin Dynasty, which implemented Legalist principles to unify and strengthen the state. Legalism prioritizes the rule of law over moral considerations, advocating for harsh punishments to deter wrongdoing.
