長安
長安 (Cháng'ān) was the capital of several Chinese dynasties, most notably during the Tang Dynasty. It was a major cultural, political, and economic center, known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and diverse population. The city was located at the eastern end of the Silk Road, facilitating trade and cultural exchange between China and other regions.
Today, the site of 長安 is located in modern-day Xi'an, in Shaanxi Province. Archaeological discoveries have revealed its historical significance, including the remnants of ancient walls, palaces, and temples. Long regarded as a symbol of China's rich history, 長安 remains a focal point for understanding ancient Chinese civilization.
