長安 (Cháng'ān) was the capital of several Chinese dynasties, most notably during the Tang Dynasty. It was a major cultural, political, and economic center, known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and diverse population. Today, the site of 長安 is located in modern-day Xi'an, in Shaanxi Province.
