赛龙舟
赛龙舟, or dragon boat racing, is a traditional water sport originating from ancient China. It involves teams paddling in long, narrow boats decorated to resemble dragons. The races are often held during the 端午节 (Duanwu Festival), which commemorates the poet 屈原 (Qu Yuan).
The sport emphasizes teamwork and synchronization, as each paddler must work in unison to propel the boat forward. Dragon boat racing has gained popularity worldwide, with many countries hosting competitions that celebrate cultural heritage and promote community spirit.
