柔道
柔道 (Judo) is a modern martial art that originated in Japan in the late 19th century. It was created by Jigoro Kano, who combined elements of traditional Japanese jujutsu to form a sport focused on throws, pins, and submissions. Judo emphasizes the principles of balance, leverage, and technique, allowing smaller individuals to defend against larger opponents.
In Judo, practitioners, known as judokas, wear a uniform called a gi. The sport is practiced both as a competitive activity and a means of self-defense. Judo is also an Olympic sport, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and respect among its participants.
