李氏朝鮮
李氏朝鮮, also known as the Joseon Dynasty, was a Korean dynastic kingdom that lasted for approximately five centuries, from 1392 to 1910. Founded by Yi Seong-gye, it is known for its significant cultural, political, and social developments, including the creation of the Hangul writing system.
The dynasty emphasized Confucianism, which shaped its governance and societal norms. During this period, Korea experienced advancements in science, technology, and the arts, contributing to a rich cultural heritage. The Joseon Dynasty ultimately ended with the annexation of Korea by Japan in 1910.
