光复会
光复会, or the "Revive China Society," was a political organization founded in 1905 by Chinese reformers, including 孙中山 (Sun Yat-sen). Its main goal was to overthrow the 清朝 (Qing Dynasty) and establish a republic in China. The society aimed to promote nationalism and modernize the country through revolutionary activities.
The 光复会 played a significant role in the early 20th-century movement for change in China. It helped lay the groundwork for later revolutionary efforts, including the 辛亥革命 (Xinhai Revolution) in 1911, which ultimately led to the fall of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the 中华民国 (Republic of China).
