佛陀
佛陀, or the Buddha, refers to Siddhartha Gautama, who lived around the 5th to 4th century BCE in ancient India. He is the founder of 佛教 (Buddhism) and is revered for his teachings on overcoming suffering and achieving enlightenment. The term "Buddha" means "the awakened one," signifying his profound understanding of life and existence.
After years of meditation and self-discovery, 佛陀 attained enlightenment under the 菩提树 (Bodhi tree) in Bodh Gaya. His teachings, known as the 四圣谛 (Four Noble Truths) and the 八正道 (Noble Eightfold Path), guide followers in their spiritual journey toward liberation from the cycle of birth and rebirth, known as 轮回 (samsara).
