तिहार
तिहार, also known as Deepawali or Yama Panchak, is a significant Hindu festival celebrated primarily in Nepal. It lasts for five days and honors various deities and animals. The festival begins with Kag Tihar, where crows are worshipped, followed by Kukur Tihar, which celebrates dogs for their loyalty.
The third day is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of wealth, and is marked by lighting oil lamps and decorating homes. The fourth day celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters during Bhai Tika, while the final day is known as Govardhan Puja, honoring Lord Krishna.
