قریش
قریش was a powerful and influential tribe in the Arabian Peninsula during the time of the Prophet محمد. They were known for their role in trade and their control over the Kaaba, a sacred site in مکہ. The tribe was divided into several clans, with the بنو هاشم clan being particularly significant as it was the family of the Prophet.
The members of قریش were respected for their leadership and social status. They played a crucial role in the early development of Islam, both as supporters and opponents of the new faith. Their interactions with the Prophet and early Muslims shaped the course of Islamic history.
