ظہیر الدین بابر
ظہیر الدین بابر (Zahir al-Din Babur) was the founder of the Mughal Empire in India. Born in 1483 in present-day Uzbekistan, he was a descendant of Timur and Genghis Khan. Babur was a skilled military leader and strategist, known for his innovative use of artillery in battles.
In 1526, he defeated the Sultan of Delhi, Ibrahim Lodi, at the Battle of Panipat, marking the beginning of Mughal rule in India. Babur's reign was characterized by cultural and architectural advancements, and he is also known for his memoirs, the Baburnama, which provide insights into his life and the era.
