ابوالقاسم فردوسی
ابوالقاسم فردوسی (c. 940–1020) was a Persian poet, best known for his epic poem, the Shahnameh or "Book of Kings." This monumental work, composed over three decades, recounts the history and mythology of Persia, celebrating its heroes and cultural heritage.
Ferdowsi's writing is notable for its use of Persian language, which helped revive and preserve it during a time when Arabic was dominant in the region. His contributions have made him a central figure in Persian literature, and he is often regarded as the national poet of Iran.
