Султан Сулейман I, also known as Süleyman the Magnificent, was the tenth and longest-reigning sultan of the Ottoman Empire, ruling from 1520 to 1566. He is renowned for his military conquests, which expanded the empire significantly, and for his legal reforms that modernized the legal system. His reign marked the peak of the empire's power and cultural achievements.
Under his leadership, the Ottoman Empire became a major political and military force in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Süleyman was also a patron of the arts, leading to a flourishing of architecture, literature, and culture, with notable works like the Süleymaniye Mosque in Istanbul.
