Сапта риши
Сапта риши, or the "Seven Sages," are revered figures in Hindu mythology and ancient Indian texts. They are considered the mind-born sons of Brahma, the creator god, and are often associated with wisdom and spiritual knowledge. The seven sages are Vashistha, Atri, Angirasa, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, and Marichi. Each sage is believed to have contributed to the Vedas, the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism.
These sages are also linked to the concept of Dharma, or righteous living, and are often depicted as guiding humanity in moral and ethical matters. In various stories, they are shown performing penance, engaging in deep meditation, and imparting knowledge to gods and mortals alike. Their teachings continue to influence spiritual practices and philosophies in Hinduism today.
