Vashistha
Vashistha is a revered sage in Hindu mythology, known for his wisdom and spiritual knowledge. He is one of the seven great sages, or Saptarishi, and is often associated with the Rigveda, one of the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism. Vashistha is credited with composing several hymns and is considered a teacher of the Ramayana hero, Rama.
In addition to his role as a sage, Vashistha is known for his conflicts with the sage Vishwamitra, which highlight themes of rivalry and the quest for spiritual power. His teachings emphasize the importance of righteousness, meditation, and devotion, making him a significant figure in Hindu philosophy.
