Крим
Крим, or Crimea, is a peninsula located on the northern coast of the Black Sea. It is bordered by the Sea of Azov to the northeast and is connected to mainland Ukraine by the narrow Perekop Isthmus. The region has a diverse landscape, featuring mountains, beaches, and fertile plains, making it a popular tourist destination.
Historically, Крим has been influenced by various cultures and empires, including the Greek, Roman, and Ottoman empires. In 1954, it was transferred from Russia to Ukraine during the Soviet era. Since 2014, Крим has been the subject of international disputes following its annexation by Russia.
