Дом Черноголовых
Дом Черноголовых, or the House of the Blackheads, is a historic building located in the heart of Riga, Latvia. Originally constructed in the 14th century, it served as a guild hall for the Brotherhood of Blackheads, a group of unmarried merchants and foreigners. The building is known for its stunning Renaissance architecture and intricate facade, featuring ornate decorations and a striking clock.
The current structure is a reconstruction completed in 1999, as the original was heavily damaged during World War II. Today, Дом Черноголовых is a popular tourist attraction, showcasing exhibitions and hosting various cultural events, reflecting the rich history of Riga.
