Φρίντριχ Σίλερ
Φρίντριχ Σίλερ (Friedrich Schiller) was a prominent German poet, philosopher, and playwright born on November 10, 1759. He is best known for his influential works in the Sturm und Drang movement, which emphasized emotion and individualism. Some of his notable plays include Die Räuber (The Robbers) and Wilhelm Tell (William Tell), which explore themes of freedom and justice.
In addition to his dramatic works, Schiller collaborated with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, another key figure in German literature, on various literary projects. His writings have had a lasting impact on German literature and philosophy, making him a central figure in the cultural landscape of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Schiller passed away on May 9, 1805.
