Τούτ Ανγκ Αμούν
Τούτ Ανγκ Αμούν, commonly known as Tutankhamun, was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the 18th dynasty, around 1332-1323 BCE. He ascended to the throne at a young age and is best known for his nearly intact tomb, discovered in the Valley of the Kings in 1922 by archaeologist Howard Carter. This discovery provided significant insights into ancient Egyptian culture and burial practices.
His reign was marked by a return to traditional polytheistic beliefs after the monotheistic reforms of his predecessor, Akhenaten. Tutankhamun's tomb contained a wealth of artifacts, including the famous golden mask, which has become a symbol of ancient Egypt's rich history and artistry.
