Σιχ
Σιχ, or Sikhism, is a monotheistic religion that originated in the Punjab region of India in the 15th century. Founded by Guru Nanak, it emphasizes the belief in one God and the teachings of ten successive gurus. The core principles include equality, community service, and devotion to God.
The Sikh community is known for its distinct identity, including the wearing of the turban and the five articles of faith known as the Five Ks. The central religious scripture is the Guru Granth Sahib, which contains hymns and writings from the gurus and other saints, guiding followers in their spiritual journey.
