Černé Lake
Černé Lake, or Černé jezero in Czech, is the largest natural lake in the Šumava National Park of the Czech Republic. It is situated at an elevation of 1,000 meters and is known for its dark, deep waters, which give it the name "Černé," meaning "black" in Czech. The lake is surrounded by lush forests and offers a serene environment for visitors.
The lake is approximately 18.4 hectares in size and reaches a depth of about 40 meters. It is a popular destination for hiking and nature enthusiasts, with well-marked trails leading to scenic viewpoints.
