Östersjön
Östersjön, or the Baltic Sea, is a brackish inland sea located in Northern Europe. It is bordered by several countries, including Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, and Denmark. The sea connects to the North Sea through the Kattegat and Skagerrak straits, making it an important waterway for trade and transportation.
The Baltic Sea is known for its unique ecosystem, which includes various species of fish and marine life adapted to its lower salinity. It is also home to several islands, such as Gotland and Öland, and features important ports like Gdańsk and Helsinki.
