{Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany
Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany was born on April 7, 1853, in London, England. He was the youngest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Leopold was known for his intelligence and artistic talents, as well as his interest in literature and science.
Leopold became the Duke of Albany in 1881 after the death of his father. He struggled with health issues throughout his life, suffering from hemophilia, a genetic disorder that affects blood clotting. He married Princess Helena of Waldeck and Pyrmont in 1882 and had two children before his untimely death on March 28, 1884.
