{Battle of Culloden
The Battle of Culloden took place on April 16, 1746, near Inverness, Scotland. It was the final confrontation of the Jacobite Rising led by Charles Edward Stuart, also known as "Bonnie Prince Charlie." The battle was fought between the Jacobite forces and the British government army, commanded by Duke of Cumberland.
