ヴィルヘルム1世, also known as Wilhelm I, was the first German Emperor, reigning from 1871 until his death in 1888. He played a crucial role in the unification of Germany, which was achieved through a series of wars and diplomatic efforts led by Otto von Bismarck.
Born on March 22, 1797, in Potsdam, ヴィルヘルム1世 initially served in the Prussian army and later became King of Prussia in 1861. His leadership during the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871) helped solidify German unity, culminating in the proclamation of the German Empire in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles.
