wallabies
Wallabies are small to medium-sized marsupials native to Australia and nearby islands. They belong to the family Macropodidae, which also includes kangaroos. Wallabies have strong hind legs, long tails, and a pouch for carrying their young, similar to other marsupials. They typically inhabit forests, grasslands, and scrublands, where they graze on grasses and leaves.
There are several species of wallabies, each with unique characteristics. The Swamp Wallaby and the Rock Wallaby are among the most well-known. Wallabies are social animals and often live in groups called mobs, which help protect them from predators.
