Swamp Wallaby
The Swamp Wallaby is a small marsupial native to eastern Australia. It typically measures about 80 to 100 centimeters in length and has a distinctive dark brown to black fur with lighter underparts. These wallabies are well-adapted to wetland habitats, often found in forests, swamps, and grasslands.
Swamp Wallabies are herbivorous, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, and shrubs. They are known for their strong hind legs, which allow them to move quickly through dense vegetation. Unlike some other wallaby species, they are more solitary and tend to be active during the day and at dusk.
