ununtrium
Ununtrium, now known as Nihonium (Nh), is a synthetic element with the atomic number 113. It was first officially recognized in 2016 and is part of the p-block of the periodic table. This element is highly unstable and has a very short half-life, making it difficult to study.
Nihonium was discovered by a team of scientists from RIKEN, a research institute in Japan. The name "Nihonium" is derived from "Nihon," which means Japan in Japanese. Due to its instability, Nihonium has no significant commercial applications and is primarily of interest for scientific research.
