Moscovium
Moscovium is a synthetic element with the chemical symbol Mc and atomic number 115. It was first created in 2003 by a team of Russian and American scientists at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Moscovium is classified as a post-transition metal and is part of the p-block of the periodic table.
Due to its short half-life, Moscovium is highly unstable and has only been produced in minute amounts. Its most stable isotope, Mc-288, has a half-life of about 220 milliseconds. Because of its rarity and instability, Moscovium has no significant practical applications and is primarily of interest for scientific research.
