sunnismo
Sunnismo is a branch of Islam that follows the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad as recorded in the Hadith and the Sunnah. It emphasizes the importance of the community and the consensus of the Muslim community, known as Ummah. Sunnis make up the largest denomination of Islam, representing about 85-90% of the global Muslim population.
Sunnismo is characterized by its acceptance of the first four caliphs, known as the Rightly Guided Caliphs, as legitimate leaders after Muhammad's death. The main schools of thought within Sunnismo include Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali, each offering different interpretations of Islamic law and practice.
