reverse layup
A reverse layup is a basketball move where a player scores by shooting the ball from behind the backboard. This technique is often used when a player is driving toward the basket and wants to avoid a defender. By using the opposite hand, the player can lay the ball up off the glass, making it harder for defenders to block the shot.
To execute a reverse layup, the player approaches the basket at an angle. As they jump, they extend their body and use their non-dominant hand to gently push the ball against the backboard. This move requires good timing and coordination to be effective.
