pre-established harmony
Pre-established harmony is a philosophical concept introduced by the philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. It suggests that the universe is designed in such a way that everything operates in perfect synchronization without direct interaction. According to this idea, every event in the world corresponds to a preordained plan, ensuring that all substances align harmoniously.
In this framework, each individual substance, or monad, acts according to its own internal principles, yet they all reflect a unified reality. This means that while they do not influence one another directly, their actions are coordinated by a divine creator, resulting in a seamless and coherent experience of the world.
