plasmas
Plasma is one of the four fundamental states of matter, alongside solids, liquids, and gases. It consists of ionized gas, meaning that some of its atoms have lost or gained electrons, resulting in charged particles. This state is commonly found in stars, including our Sun, where extreme temperatures cause gases to become plasma.
Plasma is also present in everyday life, such as in neon lights and plasma TVs. It can be created artificially in laboratories and is used in various applications, including fusion energy research and medical treatments like plasma therapy.
