pistachio trees
Pistachio trees, scientifically known as Pistacia vera, are deciduous trees native to regions of the Middle East and Central Asia. They thrive in warm, dry climates and can grow up to 10 meters tall. The trees produce small, greenish flowers that develop into clusters of edible seeds, commonly known as pistachios.
These trees require well-drained soil and plenty of sunlight to flourish. They typically take about 5 to 7 years to start producing nuts, with full production occurring around 15 to 20 years. Pistachios are not only enjoyed as snacks but are also used in various culinary dishes and desserts.
