otokratik
Otokratik, or autocratic, refers to a system of governance where a single individual holds absolute power and authority over the state. In this system, the leader makes decisions without input from others, often bypassing democratic processes. This can lead to efficient decision-making but may also result in the suppression of individual freedoms and dissent.
In an otokratik regime, political opposition is typically limited or eliminated, and the media may be controlled to ensure that only the leader's perspective is presented. Historical examples of otokratik leaders include Joseph Stalin and Kim Jong-un, who maintained strict control over their respective countries, the Soviet Union and North Korea.
