neutrino
A neutrino is a tiny, nearly massless particle that is part of the Standard Model of particle physics. It is electrically neutral, which means it does not carry an electric charge. Neutrinos are produced in various processes, such as during nuclear reactions in the sun or when cosmic rays collide with particles in the atmosphere.
There are three types of neutrinos, known as flavors: electron neutrinos, muon neutrinos, and tau neutrinos. Neutrinos interact very weakly with matter, making them difficult to detect. This property allows them to pass through planets and stars without being absorbed or deflected.
