kolas
Kolas, also known as koalas, are marsupials native to Australia. They are easily recognized by their large, round faces, fluffy ears, and thick gray fur. Kolas primarily inhabit eucalyptus forests, where they spend most of their time in trees. Their diet consists mainly of eucalyptus leaves, which are low in nutrients, so they conserve energy by sleeping up to 18 hours a day.
These animals are not bears, despite often being called koala bears. Kolas are unique to Australia and play a vital role in their ecosystem. Unfortunately, they face threats from habitat loss, climate change, and disease, leading to declining populations in some areas. Conservation efforts are underway to protect their habitats and ensure their survival.
